Vágar („gulfs”) this is the third biggest island in Faroe Islands and the only airport of the Faroe Islands can be found here. The form of the island itself is described as a “dog’s head”. There are many iconic photo locations here such as Drangarnír Sea Arch, lake Sørvágsvatn, Múlafossur waterfall and Mykines also belongs to Vágar island.
