Gatklettur (“Hellnar Arch”) is naturally formed arch rock nearby Arnarstapi.
There is a short route between Arnarstapi and Port Arnarstapi (less than 1 km). Gatklettur and this route is spectacular location for photographers (amateurs and professionals alike).
On the way on this route you can bump into a small lake where you can see birds even out of the season (more pics about Iceland).
Thankfully, Gatklettur is less frequently visited by tourist that’s why you have chance to take a scenic shot about this wonderful place
(which especially true in the early morning or late afternoon).

Gatklettur (“Hellnar Arch”) egy a tengervizi erózió által kialakitott képződmény – egy abráziós szikla.
Egy rövid ösvény köti össze Arnarstapi-t Arnarstapi kikötőjével, ami nincs messze Arnarstapi településtől ( kevesebb mint 1 km).
Ezen az úton sétálva – nagyjából fél úton található egy kis tó, amely szerény méretei ellenére is otthont ad egy kisebb “madárvilágnak”.
Maga az út egy kitűnő hely amatőr és profi fotósok számára. Szerencsére Gatklettur kevésbé látogatott ami a reggeli és késő esti órák tekintetében még inkább igaz,
így meg van az esély arra, hogy kitűnő tájképek készüljenek.
