Foltos szalamandra -Börzsöny
Védett állat, bár Magyarországon több helyen is előfordul. Rejtőzködő életet él.
Látszólag rikító színe valójában nagyon jól beleolvad a környezetébe. Több sárgás árnyalat is megfigyelhető (sárgás vagy narancsos foltok) ebből a kis állatból, nekem a narancsos árnyalat jobban tetszik.
A rikító szín egyben veszélyre is felhívja a figyelmet; bőre mérgező.
Ha egy kisebb rovar arra vetemedik, hogy rászáll a testére – ne adj isten fejére – megpihenni, néhány másodpercen belül holtan fordul le róla, az előbb említett méreg hatásának köszönhetően.
Abban a pillanatban ez a lomha kis állat hihetetlen fürge lesz (csak a fejével és a nyakával…:) ) és bekapja a szerencsétlenül járt áldozatát.
Kétéltű, tehát életének első szakaszát vízben tölti. Nem egy ideges típus, nagyjából egy álmos lomha teknős sebességével képes haladni; óránként néhányszor 10 m.
Ha megijed inkább csak annyi látszik rajta, hogy az ijedség forrásától ellenkező irányban indul el, egy picit nagyobb “sebességgel”.
Fotózás
Mivel döntően a talajzónában tartózkodik, ezért nehéz fotózni a gyenge fényviszonyok miatt.
Mivel sok egész alakos kép van róla ezért választottam inkább a portrét (római típusú hadvezéres mellképet) az egész alakos” bikini” kép helyett

Fire (Spotted) salamander -Börzsöny
It is a protected animal, although it occurs in several places in Hungary. It lives a hidden life.
Its seemingly flashy color actually blends in very well with its surroundings. Several yellowish shades can be observed (yellowish or orange spots) at this small animal, I prefer the orange shade.
The brilliant color also draws attention to danger; its skin is toxic.
If a small insect warps to land on its body – heaven forbid…on its head – it will turn dead within a few seconds, thanks to the effects of the aforementioned poison.
At that moment, this sluggish little animal will be incredibly agile (only with its head and neck … :)) and will catch its unfortunate prey.
It is an amphibian, so it spends the first part of its life in water. Not a nervous type, he can travel at roughly the speed of a sleepy sluggish turtle; 10 m several times an hour.
If you are scared, it just seems to start in the opposite direction from the source of the scare, with a slightly higher “speed”.
Photography
Because it is predominantly in the ground zone, it is difficult to take photos due to low light conditions (regarding macro).
Since there are many full-length images of him, I chose the portrait (Roman-type military bust) instead of the full-length “bikini” image.
